Three weeks after the opening of the world’s newest airport, Al Maktoum, which serves the huge enterprise zone of Dubai World Central, things are already looking good.
Today saw the low key opening of Al Maktoum International Airport with the first commercial passenger flight to land there, courtesy of Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air.

AIRPORT PARKING at Al Maktoum Airport

al maktoum airport parkingAl Maktoum Airport and the DWC will accommodate over 100,000 parking spaces on the site. Whilst develeopment continues and demand increases, the site will make more and more parking available. At present, only a fraction of that amount is required due to the low operating volumes at the airport, however as the airport nears it's 160m annual passenger capacity this will increase.

The majority of parking spaces will be underground in a vast complex of car parks and will accommodate passengers and staff. The DWC site will provide parking for the other service users on the site.

Al MAKTOUM Short Stay Parking

There are a number of short stay car parks located close to the airport terminal. It is not recommended that you stay more than 3-4 hours as the cost can be prohibitive. The short stay car parks are ideal for meeting or dropping off friends and family at the airport.

Al Maktoum Long Stay

Ideal for longer trips and family holidays, long term parking is only short bus trip from the terminals. It's adviseable to plan ahead and ensure you arrive at the airport with plaenty of time to park your car and get to the terminal in time for your flgiht. Long stay parking is the cheapest and most cost effective way of parking your car at Al Maktoum Airport.

Al Maktoum Business Parking

Business parking is available and recommended to travellers looking for short stay with added convenience of being closer to the terminal than long stay car parking more more regular and convenient transfers to the terminal.

AL Maktoum Valet Parking

Valet parking is likely to be a very popular service at Al Maktoum Airport, mainly due to the high volume of business travellers that will pass though its doors. The service will be available at all terminals and is likely to cost in the order of;
